Don't Let Failure Follow You

The reason why I wrote this poem is to let other people know that they should follow their dreams. I have been in this before. We had to choose a group for a project, and my friends wanted to be with me, but it wasn't the type of group I wanted. I didn't really like social studies, but I loved art. It was a hard decision, but I followed my dreams and went with art. And I'm so glad I did because I followed my dream! Take the courage and do what you like to do!

I loved the poem "Follow Your Dreams." I wonder how old the author was when she wrote it. I hope she keeps at it. I wrote poetry when I was in grade school. -Scott Schaeffer-Duffy

Follow your dreams.
You won't disagree.
Failure is in the past,
So get over that fast.

Always be who you are,
And don't let anyone tell you what to do.
Do what you love,
And failure won't follow you.

I gave you advice,
And I hope it worked.
Do what you like,
And don't be bossed around by a jerk.
