If you told me to describe a true friend,
I'd describe you in a heartbeat.
If you wanted to know how unique you are,
I'd tell you no one could ever make a repeat.
If you say you needed a friend like me,
Then I'd never say goodbye.
If someone tried to put you down,
I'd tell you how they're full of lies.
If you wondered what beauty looked like,
I'd tell you to look at your reflection.
And if you asked me what I thought I saw,
I'd say I saw perfection.

Excellent! So excellent and beautiful! Thanks for sharing this poem, and a very special gratitude to its writer provoking a positive attitude and hope towards at least an intimate friend in this unreliable world!

This poem reminds me of my friend Mutonyi. He is that kind of friend that is very unique. He never judges my many flaws. He is one friend I am always afraid of losing. I always hope that ours will be a forever tale. With every single glimpse of dawn I think of him. I thank God for him. He is so good. I wonder if I deserve him and I always tell God if I asked too much without saying thank you may he forgive me for having Mutonyi for a friend is quite a thing.
