Loving Your Partner Despite Their Imperfections

This poem is about being able to love someone despite their shortcomings. We all know we are not perfect, but being able to ignore all the negatives and accepting them for who they are and what they are is how to truly love. We realize that nothing else matters; their presence in your life is what fulfills you. That person, despite them being imperfect, is able to bring out the best in you, a true resemblance of how love has no boundaries.

In imperfection lies your beauty
In sorrow lies your strength
And in me lies your heart.

In the valley of ashes lies the brightest rose
Among every burnt coal is there a glistening diamond
And in the depths of pain is there bundles of joy.

In the early mist of the morning your beautiful face awakens me
And in the darkest hours of the night
It sets me upon my slumber.

In imperfection lies your beauty
In sorrow lies your strength
And in me lies your heart.
