I must admit,
My heart was hit.
You broke it apart,
Cut through real smart.

But you fixed it,
You made it fit.
You looked into my eyes,
While I called you out on your lies.

You held me tight,
Just like you did that night.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath,
Knowing this is a moment I shouldn't forget.

Just hope you're here to stay,
Not here to play.
Just love me like you have,
And don't cut my heart in half.
