I'm Sorry Love Poem

Poem About Losing The Person You Love

Fighting, it's not worth it. Nothing is worth losing the person you love. For me, I had to learn the hard way, and hopefully someday she will read this.

My life was complete,
But now it's not.
I lost it all, because I fought.
She made me alive.
Now I am dead.
I'm lying here,
Crying in my bed.
Life is worthless.
Why should I try?
All I want to do
Is lie here and die.
It has only been two days,
But that is all I need
To get a last chance
Before she leaves.
One last chance
To turn it around,
Hoping she won't turn me down.
All I want to do
Is hold her tight
And make her dreams
Come true tonight,
That once and for all
I can make her happy
Instead of screaming, yelling,
Making life crappy.
I'm sorry for what I have done.
This is coming from my heart.
I'm just asking
For a brand new start,
For you are my life.
Without you I am nothing
So give it one last chance,
And I will make it into something.
I love you too much.
I can't let you go,
So look into my eyes,
And say I love you so.

Explain to me why my heart beats in pain
and why it beats even harder
at the mere mention of your name.
Explain why it's this way,
why hurt has to be here day after day
why I have to live the way I do alone in this world separated from you
Then explain why I pray to our Lord up above
that one day you'll realize it's only you I care for and love

Beautiful, it's so true that you never know what you've got and how you really feel about something until it is gone. You learn from your mistakes. One thing that truly bothers me is you learn from your mistakes and in most life situations you get to use what you have learned in another situation. But there are some mistakes you make that you don't ever have a situation to fix them. In love when you truly love someone and lose them, with all the regrets of things you should not have said or way you should have reacted, there is no second chance for you to make those changes with them.

These poems are very impressive. That's how it is with love, because love can change everything.
