My Father Is My Life

My father is my life.
He keeps us away from strife.
He is the person who cares for me.
He is one who smiles at me.
He is the one who loves me a lot.
He is a person who used to swing me in a cot.
He earns for us.
He drops me at the bus.
He scolds me sometimes
But fulfills my wishes every time.
I want him to stay right beside
Because he is my life.
