You Are My World

You're the thought that starts each morning,
the conclusion to each day.
I envision you in all that I do
and everything I say.

You're the smile on my face,
the sparkle in my eye,
the warmth inside my heart,
the fullness in my life.

The only hand that's laced to mine,
the coat upon my back.
My friend and love, you have my heart;
I will never turn back.

You're the dimple in my cheek,
the constant tingle in my soul,
the voice that makes me weak.
You're the one who shields the cold.

You're all I've wanted,
all that I need.
You're all I dream of,
You mean so much to me.

This perfectly describes the way I feel about my girlfriend, we have fallen madly in love and I needed something to explain how I feel about her. She is my world and I can't imagine my life without her. I know she feels the same about me and to have something that shows that is amazing. And she loves poetry.

"You Are My World" depicts my life with my fiance.
The love we share is filled with intensity and passion, totally something other couples only dream about and envy.
Yes, we met in an unconventional way but we believe God brought us together and it's our destiny.
We've been together since December 23, 2012 and our love just keeps getting stronger and stronger.
No one understands us but us...we fell in love the very first time we spoke on the phone and my titillating butterflies have not ceased since.
He laughs when I say this but he, too, feels equally the same.
We can hardly wait to be married and to share our happiness with our family and friends.

Your my friend, and you know that. You'll be my, Peanut Butter to my Jelly, My Sunshine in the Morning, The Apple to my Pie, The Straw to my Berry, The Shoes to my Laces, and a lot more! Just remember, You'll always be my friend! <3
