C----Christ born upon this earth
H----Hallelujah, praise God for his birth
R----Rejoicing our Lord has come
I-----Immanuel, God's chosen one
S----Star shining brightly from heaven
T----Treasures and gifts Christ was given
M----Mother Mary who bore us God's son
A---- Angel, God's messenger from above
S----Savior - and Sins Christ has forgiven

Mom,
When I was just a little tot, I followed after you.
I asked to help by saying, "Me do, me do, me do."
I suppose I was a nuisance, a problem in many ways,
But I hung around and learnt from you
Like most little girls would do.
For years, you showed me love and care
And taught me right from wrong,
But now the years have passed us by,
And the little girl years are gone.
Now it's my turn, Mom,
To give you love and care,
To do for you what you did for me
When I followed you everywhere.
I'll comb your hair,
I'll help you dress,
And I'll even tie your shoes.
I'll paint your nails,
I'll help you eat, and I'll tell you a story or two.
I'll sing to see you happy, I'll give you lots of hugs,
I'll take your hand to keep you safe,
And I'll tell you how much you're loved,
And when you follow after me and become
A nuisance in many ways,
I'll give you lots of love and care,
As you did in my little girl days.
They say that mom and child trade places,
And that may very well be,
But as long as God allows me to live,
I'll take care of thee.

Our Father in Heaven
At the closing of the day
I clasp my hands, I close my eyes
I bow my head to pray

Father, I thank you for our blessings
That we receive along the way
And help us to remember how
Jesus loves us every day

I thank you for my loved ones
My family and my friends
Father, embrace us with your love
So we may have comfort and
Peace within

Father, will you bless us
With all good things that are right
And send your guardian angels
To protect us through the night

And when the early morning light
Brings on another day
May we be blessed with sunshine
To brighten our pathway
In Jesus Christ, Amen

Muddy boots and overalls, he stood about six two
He was a country bumpkin; hard work was what he knew
A carpenter, a roofer, a jack of many trades
Countless hours of hard labor with not much time to play
He was my mother's husband, the father of us five
He raised a crew of workers with a loving, spirited wife
A strong voice in our raising, a firm hand when in need
Just tiny tots through growing years he taught us to behave
He was a proud and simple guy, content with what he had
He strived to build a better life for his children and his wife
He taught me responsibility and to stand on my own two feet
Hold strong to what I believed in and always face defeat
He said owe no man nothing and always pay what's due
And we should love everybody but only trust a few
He wasn't much on chit chat; his words were few and far between
A deep and silent thinker, his thoughts were plans and dreams
His heart was kind and thoughtful, a humanitarian he came to be
His generous nature of giving a helper to those in need
But most important, what matters most
He was Dad to me

Mom,
Every day must be a celebration in your
Newfound heavenly home,
But our Mother's Day is forever empty
For your children here below.
There will be no bouquet of roses,
No gifts, no cards, no hugs,
No connection to call to hear your voice
To tell you how much you're loved.
Each day I see you in my mirrors,
You're in my flowerbeds outside.
I know you live within my children
As I can see you in their eyes.
Every day I feel you're near me,
But it's just not the same.
I miss your arms to hold me.
I miss you calling out my name,
So I just want to tell you
Because you're far away
I miss you more today
Than I did yesterday.
I know you're content and peaceful
As God shines his light on you
And he showers you with joy and blessings
All the whole day through.
So happy heavenly Mother's Day, Mom.
With abundance of love from me to you,
Your daughter

I've loved and worshiped my whole life long,
I've lent a fair hand now and then.
I've praised the best, I've prayed for the rest.
I comfort the lonely once again.

I've been strong in my faith, I've lived by your word.
Lord, I've obeyed your commands.
Now my body and soul are long overdue,
So Lord, will you take me home too?

Lord, you've taken home the weak, you've taken
The strong, you've taken the old and the new.
You've taken the ones that I've loved the most.
So Lord, will you take me home too?

My dear husband I miss, all my friends have gone on.
I've noticed you called them home too.
There's no one familiar I see around me,
So Lord, will you take me home too?

Don't leave me behind in this crazy old world.
I'm not wanting to stay here alone.
I've prepared myself to meet you real soon,
So Lord, will you take me home to.

As the twilight fell on the new crispy morn,
She grew still with a small peaceful smile.
My prayers have been answered and it's not too soon.
My Lord is taking me home too.

In our one short year together,
A love's grown deep within my heart
For such a certain someone,
Too soon for us to part.

To walk along beside you,
To me would be just fine.
To touch a cheek, to see a smile,
Even hold your hand in mine.

I want to be with you always
And forever have you near,
To share a tender need,
Take you in and hold you dear.

There's a special feeling,
Sometimes too strong to bear.
By loving you, I wonder
If I've had more than my share.

There's an aching emptiness
Deep inside of me,
For to realize what I want
Just may never be.

The time is slipping past us,
For which we dread to part.
I'll carry you with me always
And forever in my heart.

Now the time has come
For you to go away,
But I'll take comfort with the thought
That you'll be back someday.

Love sits on my shoulder and whispers in my ear.
It tells me how you love me and the words I want to hear.
Love is growing with you and filling in the gaps.
Love is our tomorrows, our future, and our past.
Love binds the ties together and secures them with a knot.
Love is our plans that we outgrew and the ones that we forgot.
Love is what we've had together, all these blessed years.
Love sits on my shoulder and whispers in my ear.

I believe there's a unique rose garden
Where a sturdy rose bush grows.
Among the twigs and branches
There sits a beautiful rose.
Though the stocks are strong and thorn-less,
The stems are never bare.
Here grows a large enchanting rose,
Her beauty so elegantly rare.
Standing out among the others,
Her uniqueness is heavenly fine.
A rainbow of many colors
Throughout her pedals are entwined.
In God's unique rose garden,
The rose will never wilt away.
The blossoms will bloom again and again,
And the rose will never fade.

To see the birth of eternal growth,
Where the rose will forever grow.
