Cheers To Love
The world must become a much better place
Where more people dwell with a smile on their face
Living together in kinship and peace
A world full of hope where joys never cease.
The world must become a much better place
Where more people dwell with a smile on their face
Living together in kinship and peace
A world full of hope where joys never cease.
It's time to embrace every culture,
One flock, one shepherd, one fold
Whatever our race, hue or faith
We're all made from the same mould.
This poem should be shouted from the rooftops. Oh for worldwide peace. We have enough problems with climate change, we do not need wars. Well done writing it Beryl. Best wishes, Ann.
in Dying Poems
When dementia creeps in through the back door,
Loving is needed, like never before...
An expressionless face, an empty heart,
Teachers proudly stand in front of the class
With knowledge and influence en masse,
Igniting a flame in curious minds
Proficiently as the lessons unwind.
God will paint rainbows in the sky
Once again for the world and I.
Signs that will tell us all is well,
Freedom from this grim living hell.
Dear Dinah,
I can't thank you enough. Your kind words have touched my heart. It's so nice to know the poets are being heard and read all over the world, that people like you are inspired by...
Excellent write brother John about the current situation we're in.
Not only us here in the UK but the whole world too.
All we can do is keep safe as you say and isolate to keep the bugs at bay.
Sis Beryl
Awesome poetry!!!
You paint a picture so extremely grand
of a magical winter wonderland
Though Jack Frost may bite fingers, nose and toes,
his art compares to Michelangelo's.
Beautiful poetry. Love is a multifaceted thing. No matter what or how long loves lasts, love will always be a treasured part of our future and past. Love helps to shape who you become. Love changes everything the moment that it's begun.
Peter, I love your love story; it's a story of hope and glory . . .
It goes to show, when the going gets tough,
nothing can stand in the way of true love.
Love's the link from one heart to another
unbreakable when you love each other.
Brother John,
Never look back in regret of the year that's passed.
Remember the good times, hold on to them fast.
Look forward to the new year and all that's to be,
Making dreams come true, living them happily.
