Prayer Poem

May The Lord Give You Peace

I'm currently on a mission trip in Uganda, sharing in workshop and praise and prayer. The mission is in our school in a village called Lugongwe. The Holy spirit speaks and moves in ways that lift you up in his glory. The poem "Blessings" came to me from the inspired words of Numbers 6:24-26. My prayer is for the readers of this poem to feel blessed. Amen.

A child lay tenderly
For the Lord to bless and keep
His face to shine upon you
A prayer for when you sleep

And His face to turn towards
A promise upheld in heaven
His child finds rewards

From all burdens be so free
His love shall never cease
Rest child, in His arms
May the Lord give you peace

Amen
