Poems on Spirituality

The realm of spirituality is mystical and mysterious. When we look at the world with an attitude of wonder and awe, we become aware that the world is filled with spiritual life. Part of spirituality is being willing to admit that something is beyond your comprehension. Science has its place in understanding the world but it will never have all the answers. When we look at the universe and into our own hearts and see that which we don't understand, we know that we have touched that which is unknowable and holy.

    Poem About Blessed Filled Days

Lord, at times we come to you, our faith is not as strong.
But in your loving arms we fall; you show us that we belong.
You carry us when we think we can't go any longer.
The love you have can only grow stronger and stronger.

  4. Peace

My Own Version Of The 23rd Psalm

As I wander through the green, green, grassy glades
    With valleys swathed in darkness.
In deep dark tunnels of despair,
all my burdens laid on my shoulders.

A woman's virtue is her wisdom and her strength.
She's poised, prim and proper, and always watches over her sheep.
See, a woman has the ability to get the job done, no matter the circumstance.
God equipped her that way and not by chance.

    Finding Your Spiritual Guides

Who are they, what do they do?
Where do they come from, are they for me and you?
What do they look like, how do they sound?

  13. A Cry From The Soul

Trapped with nowhere to turn, life is changing beyond my control, causing this deep ache in the bottom of my soul.
Someone else is pulling the strings, oh to fly, oh for wings.
Escape, I want to dig my self out, filled with despair, filled with doubt.
Mute not able to express, this gnawing pain and feeling of relentless distress....
