God Poem

God Is Still Good

When the cares of this life overtake me, these are the words I choose to remember and say. As the tears roll down my face, leaving their imprint on overworked paper, and my fear wrestles with my breath, I remind myself of who fuels my strength and the beauty of my faith. For through it all, no matter what I have faced, or the length of the waiting, my God is still good and will do exactly what He says.

in my weeping, He is still good
in my fear, He is still good
in my weariness, He is still good
in my pain, frustration, hurt, and shame
He is still good
and when hope seems distant, my God is still good
