When your heart is ripped in pieces,
I will bring you my adhesive,
called laughter.

When your lungs yearn for air,
I will give you my spare,
called comfort.

When your body shrieks in pain,
I will give you my cane,
called help.

When your mind is a mess,
I will show you progress,
called hope.

When you just
need a shoulder
to rest
your tired head,
pick up the phone,

and before
you can speak,
I'll say,

"I'm coming."
