Cheers To Love
The world must become a much better place
Where more people dwell with a smile on their face
Living together in kinship and peace
A world full of hope where joys never cease.

Living together in kinship and peace
A world full of hope where joys never cease.
It's time to embrace every culture,
One flock, one shepherd, one fold
Whatever our race, hue or faith
We're all made from the same mould.
This poem should be shouted from the rooftops. Oh for worldwide peace. We have enough problems with climate change, we do not need wars. Well done writing it Beryl. Best wishes, Ann.
in Dying Poems
When dementia creeps in through the back door,
Loving is needed, like never before...
An expressionless face, an empty heart,
Teachers proudly stand in front of the class
With knowledge and influence en masse,
Igniting a flame in curious minds
Proficiently as the lessons unwind.
God will paint rainbows in the sky
Once again for the world and I.
Signs that will tell us all is well,
Freedom from this grim living hell.
Dear Dinah,
I can't thank you enough. Your kind words have touched my heart. It's so nice to know the poets are being heard and read all over the world, that people like you are inspired by...
A wonderful legendary poem Dylan Thomas wrote...
"You would wish someone fight with all their might
And not slip gentle into that good night
But then who’re we to expect that they do
When heaven’s gates wait for them to walk through."

A truly wonderful tribute poem to your Mom, Brian, one of the best I've ever read. There's nothing so good as a mother's touch, their patience, understanding, their heart and their love.
Brian, that's a fantastic list of things we did when we were kids. I remember all that too, if only things could have stayed free and happy as back in those days. -Beryl
Beautiful poetry from Maya Angelou, a truly courageous, inspirational women whose work and words will live on in the hearts of mankind forever.
Thank you, brother John. I, too, see the 'Rainbow of Hope' on the horizon now that we're getting the vaccination. We are so lucky to have survived, though we'll never forget those that sadly died or those who still will. - Sister Beryl
