Forever Friends

The friendship we have is so rare to find.
We hate to see each other in a bind.
We have made each other laugh so hard we've cried.
We feel each other's pain if we are hurt inside.
We always can find the right words to say
To help us get through any dreadful day.
We have told our darkest secrets with feeling no shame,
We will tell each other the truth, even if we are to blame.
Thinking of you not being here makes me feel so sad.
We will have to look back on our crazy memories to make us glad.
The miles between us can't keep us apart,
Because we will keep each other close at heart.

Being friends is about sharing our lives with others. There are some aspects of our lives that require that we spend a lot of time together or a lot of writing to help convey our feelings. Other times sharing only a few words are more than adequate. It is not always the long conversation that conveys the deepest feelings. Sometimes, longer modes of expression may seem redundant and lacking in profundity. Putting just the right combination of words on paper in a succinct style may just hit the spot.

I really have been down and sad. My best friend has been leaving me and hanging out with a new girl. What should I do? Should I just hang out with someone new? I mean, everyone tells me that, but I cannot just leave her like that, even though she always betrays me.

You deserve better! Always keep your chin up. Times can get tough when you feel abandoned, but just keep trucking ahead and don't ever let someone else determine your happiness. There's a lot of great people out there. You'll find someone you can count on again. Trust me.
