Happy Feelings In The Rain

I usually hate when the months of rain come because the rain always reminds me of doom and gloom...but when I'm happy, I feel like thinking of everything happy, and so I composed a poem when I was happy and now I love rain as much as any other season!

On A Rainy Day

A freezing cold breeze,
Just swept my face.
Excited I went,
To seize my "RAIN CASE"

I put on my coat,
And gumboots on my feet.
I put my hat and my gloves,
And hopped on out to the street.

The thunder was roaring,
The lightening so bright.
It sounded a bit creepy,
But the rain was actually light.

The black clouds were soaring,
High, high above.
But, on a rainy day...

Jumping in puddles is all that I love!!!
