Thank You Friend Poem

I wrote this poem to say thank you to my mentor at school. She's helped me through a lot. Family break up, self-harm, anger problems, school troubles, and friend issues. I wanted to thank her for what she's given to me.

I don't know how to say this,
but I thank you very much
for always being there for me,
your gentle, friendly touch.
Thank you.

You helped me to get better
and stop what I regret.
You helped me through the hard times
that I can't forget.
Thank you.

You listened to my problems
in a kind and caring way,
and without you,
I may not be smiling today.
Thank you.

I trust you with my secrets
that no one has been told.
I trust you with my feelings, and I'll remember your words
until I'm grey and old.
Thank you.

I like your poem about thanking your friend . I like how you thank your friend. Your friend seems to be a nice person helping you at hard times. Your friend also seems to be someone that you can also trust. I can connect with your poems because it is about friendship. Your best friend remind me of my little sister.

I love this,
My best friend and I have been through everything together, I've known her my whole life.
and she was there for me when my father got sick, and had to go to a hospital across the country.
and I was there for her when her father died a year ago.
she was there for me when my mom decided to marry a man I didn't like.
and I was there for her when she had to move out of her moms house.
she even had to live with me for a few months.
I know we're going to be friends forever, and I know she'll always be there for me.

That is so sweet! I love that you and your friend are always there for each other! I have some friends who are like that to me.
