You Will Always Hold My Heart
I remember the first time we met.
It is something I will never forget.
The beauty that was shown in your face
I remember the first time we met.
It is something I will never forget.
The beauty that was shown in your face
in Goodbye Love Poems
A great big laugh, a simple smile.
You came into my life to only stay awhile.
At first glace, I knew it was meant,
in Lonely Poems
Dear Diary,
As I make my entry today, again I cry.
Never thought this love would be so complicated,
G-is for the Gift that God has given to us.
R-is for the Righteousness he gave to guide us.
A-is for the Almighty God we love to serve.
C-is for the Cross he was on that set us free.
in Mother Death Poems
I didn't ask to be here,
but placed here for a reason.
The time that I spent, was only for a season.
Giving and sharing, is how I'm here to serve.
in Baby Poems
It was a cold and frosty morning
in the heart of winter's breath,
when Joe and Thelma readied
for a life they had yet to meet.
The road to town was an hour long,
a ribbon through fields of white,
and this--child number eight--
kicked softly, urging them on.
Excitement hummed like lantern light
inside their weathered car,
for chores still waited back at home,
the farm still pulling at their sleeves.
But some things can't be delayed--
a baby comes when a baby must.
They left the others bundled tight,
small faces pressed to frosted glass,
watching their parents disappear
into the quiet afternoon.
in Death Moving On Poems
As I sit here and wonder how things would have turned out,
Not to have been part of your life was there ever a doubt.
I would see you again, just didn't know when.
A long time has passed, wondering how you have been.
Thanks for the touching poem--It has been six years now that I have lost my mum- I think about her every day and I still wish that I could see her for one last time- She was more than a mum...
in God Poems
You never promised us a perfect life, but only a perfect love.
We seek you in prayer and look for you as you are,
Our everlasting savior, a bright and shining star.
Sometimes we are out there lost, seeking your acceptance,
It soothes the heart to know someone up there really does care. Reading this gives a reassuring hope and strength to hold on.
In the quiet of my sorrow,
When the night feels oh so long,
You are standing right beside me,
And Your presence makes me strong.
Beautifully written. I only wish I had your faith and belief. Very best wishes, Ann
in Beauty of Nature Poems
I put on my gear to go for a bike ride,
Helmet light on, water bottle by my side.
The morning sun is soft and low,
Casting light on the road below.
I look along side the quiet bike lane,
The ride will take me to a place that will clear my mind and brain.
I really enjoyed this poem, I felt I had been on the bike ride myself. Very best wishes, Ann.
