I'm A Beautiful Ugly Book

In a world of books, I am one of a kind,
My cover worn and tattered, but my story intertwined.
Through countless hands, I've been passed along,
A tale of adventure, love, and song.

My pages are weathered, my edges frayed,
But within me, memories are carefully laid.
Each word a treasure, each chapter a delight,
Waiting for someone to read me at night.

Time has left its mark on me,
With creases and tears for all to see.
My colors have faded, my edges worn,
But still, within me, stories are born.

Pages missing, memories lost,
But in my heart, they're never tossed.
Turn my pages, read my tale,
In each word, a journey to unveil.

So open me gently, let your imagination soar,
Discover the magic that lies in store.
And when you're done, close me with care,
And leave me for another to share.

Handle me with care, my dear friend,
For my cover's strength is near its end.
When you're done, put me back on the shelf,
For another soul to find within myself.

So open me gently, let your imagination soar,
Discover the magic that lies in store.
And when you're done, close me with care,
And leave me for another to share.
