If I Could Kill Cancer

An eight-year-old boy writes about the death of his grandpa by cancer, wishing he could kill cancer. My 8 year old son, Jack, wrote the following poem at school about his grandfather.

My grandpa was 86.
And when he was 87
He died.

He had cancer.
I wish I could,
But I can't
Kill cancer.

I know how you feel my grandpa died of cancer in 2007. all I could think after he passed away was that cancer was no good. now my Granma is dying from it also so I wish I could kill cancer too
