Will You Be There

Published: July 2011

When I'm crying and you see tears running down my face,
will you be there?
When I'm in my deepest fear,
will you be there?
When I face my darkest hour,
will you be there?
Will you help when I'm in trouble?
Will you watch as I weep?
I have one other question...
when you have your head hanging down,
will it be me that you seek?
I know it will be.
So when I hate myself and want to throw in the bag,
will you be there with open arms?

I’ve known this girl since Pre-K up until 5th grade. But now she and her boyfriend broke up and I dated him. I didn’t know she was going to be mad. Now she won’t talk to me, but before him she liked a boy. She told me, but I forgot then I dated him because he liked me so I dated him. She’s my lifeline. I’m young, but love your friends before you love the boys or your boyfriend.
