Time Keeps Marching On
Time passes all so quickly,
Moments melting into years.
It's true, time waits for no one,
And the end is always near.
Time passes all so quickly,
Moments melting into years.
It's true, time waits for no one,
And the end is always near.
Another lovely poem, Patricia - keep them coming. Very best wishes, Ann
Now what should I be thankful for?
Now where do I begin?
Of course the greatest gift of all -
My family and my friends.
I was thinking about writing a verse to family and friends about being thankful for the small things in life. Then I decided to see what had already been written. I came across your poem. It...
These days, that moment haunts me,
That first moment we met.
You were a vision from the heavens
That I never would forget.
Oh Ann, my heart goes out to you. I can only imagine the pain you must be in. Having a lifelong love is such a blessing but watching them be sick would be a torture. I feel stupid trying to...

It could not be me he's thinking of
When he looks up at the soft moonlight.
And it can't be me that he's dreaming of
When he falls asleep at night.
Another brilliant poem - I love the way you write - keep them coming, please.
Very best wishes, Ann
in Regret Poems
The hardest part of getting old,
Is dealing with regrets,
Accepting there's no going back.

Sometimes I dream that I can fly.
I lift and flap my arms just so,
And soon I'm soaring to the sky.
Graceful like a bird I go.
Thanks, Pat, for your poem. I love the feeling of movement your words create - they really transported me. And I also appreciate your honesty in dealing with the subject of finding and having...
Before he crawled into his bed,
He prayed his soul to take.
Then curled up in the darkness,
And spent the night awake.
A wonderful write Patricia...
This poem should be shown in every school
so kids know bullying's against the rules
That everyone has a place on this earth
to live in peace and realise...
Each day we wake is such a gift;
No moment's guaranteed.
Tomorrow isn't promised,
But to fate we must concede.
This touches my heart deeply. I believe life is more about what "IS" rather than the what "WAS" with unresolved issues between family or friends. I am in recovery with four estranged...
