I'm stranded in this moment of borrowed time
As I weep for the moments that have passed on by
Each tear a moment in the river of life
I bear these scars,
This crooked smile,
And laugh in this cracking tone.
My mind tired my body spent,
I only hope one day I'll lay to rest and think of
every moment I've had
And care not for those that have passed me by.
