A Whole Love

Ever since
I laid eyes on you,
I knew for a fact
This was a dream come true.

Everything my heart desires,
In one single go,
Fell into my lap,
Made my love grow.

I know now
My life is complete.
No more struggles
Or battles to compete.

Now I see
My future at last.
Up the life ladder we go,
Together it's a blast.

You showed me
The true meaning of love,
My guardian angel,
Sent from above.

The heart is an organ
We cannot live without,
But I give you my heart,
In trust, without a doubt.

For years to come
We will become stronger.
Together, hand in hand
And forever longer.

I love you
With all my heart and soul.
You met me broken
And made me whole.

After 30 years and a couple of one night stands throughout the years, my ex and I are really putting forth the effort to be a couple again. So much has changed and we're both older now. We have both had our share of bad relationships. We're both ready for a relationship, and everything seems to be falling into place. It's new, but it's familiar. I loved him when I was 15 and I always felt he was the one that got away, but every time we would hook up, we would never stay in touch. Now I can't see being without him. I got my second chance! This may be one of the greatest love stories ever. To be continued ...

You fell in love with me, and I fell in love with too. It was such a great and amazing feeling. There was love and a great attraction between us. But our love story was a difficult one.
