Loving You Forever Poem

I fell in love with a girl a while back, but I am not the most forward person in admitting my feelings, so I decided to start writing poetry. Then I could write the perfect love poem in a Valentine's card. I like to think of myself as a hopeless romantic, and I think that she will love this poem particularly. This is because I wrote a very similar poem with her once, so I thought that I would improve it to the best of my ability after having practice in writing poetry.

As long as the birds are singing,
As long as the fish can swim,
As long as the sun keeps shining,
I will love you in the bright or dim.

As long as the wind keeps blowing,
As long as the ocean waves,
As long as the stars are shimmering,
You will have my heart enslaved.

As long as time keeps flowing,
As long as the sky is blue,
As long as planets are spinning,
My love will forever be with you.
