Love Poem about Marriage

Hello, my name is Barbara. I am forty-two years old and have been married for almost twenty-three years to a wonderful man. We have three grown children who we are very proud of. This poem means a lot to me because I wrote it for my parents when I was a teenager. I was abused growing up and could not seem to understand why my mother stayed with my father for so long, but now that I am married I understand the meaning of "love is blind."

Love Is Forever

Love is meant to be forever even through the toughest of times
Love can say a thousand words in every heart and mind
sometimes love brings troubles and sorrows,
but if we keep that love in mind there's always a brighter tomorrow
and when that love begins to fade away
always remember the vows you made and the love you promised one another
till death do you part only because you found that love within your hearts
