Spring Poem

Transformation Of The Seasons

This short poem is in Haiku style and about the transformation of winter into spring. I think it explains the struggle of the transformation of winter's nature, of trying to hold on a little longer, while spring's nature of taking over always wins, giving way to the brand new life, new love, and the charm of spring! In just a few short lines spring always wins her way, dancing well into May and June! Many weddings are planned during these months because of the fairness and beauty of the spring weather.

Spring's Way

Winter fights to stay.
Sweet Spring always wins her way.
Flowers bloomed today!

Spring has final say,
Sending Winter on his way.
Her true love is May!

Spring's June wedding day.
White lily and rose bouquet.
Bells ring out today!

ABOUT THE POET:

I am a mother of two grown sons, we are an extremely close family & extended family, like all families we have had many wonderful & blessed times through life and we have experienced heart ache as well, I raised my sons, to never make judgement upon another persons journey in this life and to be the best them that they can be , that is all we can really do in this life that is so short in comparison to the big scheme of history & time. Is to try, try and live simply and simply live with compassion & forgiveness in our hearts toward one another, being the best person you can be and always changing and growing along the way.
