Life Lesson Poem

Contrast Between Outer Chaos

I wrote this based on self-reflection and inner awareness. The original Urdu used images like a bell, silence, and noise to show the contrast between the outer world and our inner self. I translated it poetically to express how quiet moments help us connect with ourselves. It reflects mindfulness, the value of pausing in a noisy world, and listening to our inner voice -- often lost in today's fast-paced life.

Echoes Of Silence

Published by Family Friend Poems September 10, 2025 with permission of the Author.

Close your eyes, now pause and feel,
A distant bell rings -- soft yet real.
One side holds silence, calm and deep,
The other, chaos that cannot sleep.

The noise you hear, from far and near,
Reflects the world, both hope and fear.
Now feel within -- what stirs your core?
What voice inside do you ignore?

A moment arrives, serene and still,
Let thoughts be free, bend not your will.
The silence now begins to teach,
A breath so pure, beyond all speech.

What lies within -- embrace, explore,
Your inner self holds boundless more.
So think, feel, dive into you --
What you become... begins with you.
