To my big shadow...
I followed you around when I was a kid like your little shadow. We cried and laughed together, had our highs and lows, but we grew stronger with love. It's a closeness and bond that no one can destroy. there is no other sister like my sister who's strong and loving and is mine to treasure forever. I'll follow my big shadow wherever she goes. I'm always going to be with her. In my heart and soul, I'm always with you.

I met my boyfriend on a social media platform. That first conversation changed my whole life. He came to me as a friend and stayed. I was so surprised we had so much in common, including our careers. He gave me strength to walk past everything. He gave me his heart. Erick has always been the friend that I wanted, so every time I read the poems I can totally relate to what people feel because I feel it too.

My story is a bit different from all of yours. We were friends before, and he made me feel as if I could also be happy. But when he proposed to me, I felt the real joy of life. We were together for a year and then I told him I actually felt happier when we were friends than now. He took that seriously, and now we are not even friends. I wish I could take back my words. I only told him that because I felt that I wasn't the right girl for him. He deserved the best. And I am not that girl. I just hope that we would be friends again...

My boyfriend is in jail right now, and I am missing him dearly. He has already served 4 years. He has 3 1/2 more years to go. Altogether, 7 years total. I miss him dearly, and these poems make me miss him even more. Thank you all for writing these poems because they help with the pain. The emotional pain hurts more than the physical.

I am a mother of a one year old girl and am broken up with her father. I thought it was the end of the world. We’ve been together for almost 5 full years. I told myself I would never love a man in my life, but fortunately I got a man who’s made me feel like I was wasting my time on my previous boyfriend. I am in love, and he takes my baby as his. I am so happy in my relationship with him, and this poem was made for him.

Me and my boyfriend met in the 6 grade, we're now seniors about to graduate high school. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. We've only now been together for a year but we've known each other for 7 years and we both secretly had a crush on each other for the past 4 years. He's been here for me, through almost everything. When I got pregnant, and I lost the baby he was there to help me through it and now that we're together and I'm going through a really really rough time with my family he's been so helpful and supportive. I'm currently fighting cancer and not one second has he left my side. He helps me with everything and I'm so grateful to have him. I Love You Baby 3/4/15

My boyfriend and I met in my grade ten year in geo class, we walked in a week after class first started. He was wearing a black shirt, earphones in, and air drumming. he intrigued me so I started to talk to him and eventually became friends. In December of 2013 He kissed me, it was just a quick little kiss, and after he apologized and said he couldn't handle my cuteness. That was what sparked a special connection between us, and it was just cliché and cheesy. In February he still hadn't asked me out, so I asked him to be my Valentine and he said yes, but got sick on that day.. when he still didn't ask me out, I asked him out and he said yes. We are now four months in our relationship and are still crazily in love. The funny thing about this though, is that he friend zoned me. I tease him about it now and he just tickles me until I'm crying. He is one of the best boyfriends in the world I'm so happy he chose me to be his. 08.02.14 <3

Well it is a very funny way how me and my boyfriend had meet. He was looking for a girlfriend one day and I didn't know him at all until my friend brought him to my house. He asked me out the first day I met him and it wasn't just any old day it was my birthday we kissed after he asked me out without even knowing one another. He was like mmm thank you for that kiss I really needed that. ME with my manners said your very welcome and that kiss tasted great. Now we've been together for 1 year and 1 week. We are together forever and I can't never go a day without saying I love you to him. He is just a very sweet guy and is the bestest boyfriend in the world. He is 19 and I am 15 but I don't care because age does not matter.

Before I met my boyfriend I was very depressed, felt alone, and didn't know where I belonged in the world.. When he came into my life I finally felt wanted and cared for and I wanted him to know how much he means to me. In December I met this very sweet guy and we talked and then he asked me to be his girlfriend from then on he loved me like I am the only girl on earth. I miss if he is not with me and when we French kiss it's like we are deeply in love. I want him to be in my life forever since I love him.

The first time I met my fiancé was at the fair two years ago we was sitting next to each other on the rollercoaster he told me I look pretty and I said thank you when we got off the ride he asked me if I want to hang out with him and go ride rides together, so I did. After the night was over he asked me to be his girlfriend and ever since the day he asked me to be his girlfriend I felt happy again I never been this happy in my whole life. I was thinking I am the lucky girl ever and just last night he asked me take his hand in marriage and I am happy to say I am getting married now. I was all alone before I met him I didn't know what love was but now I do he is my everything I love you baby and can't wait to be your wife.

I have the best boyfriend ever! Before I met him I cried myself to sleep every night. I was so hurt I was trying to leave. I had this dream. There was this guy trying to kill me and this boy came in and helped me fight him off. The next day I met my boyfriend. As soon as I seen him I fell in love. I have been dating this guy on and off for a couple months and he's never said those 3 words. Then the other day, he looked at me from my desk in class and said "Wow. I never noticed how beautiful you are." I was surprised and asked "What did you say?" And he replied "Oh, nothing." And blushed and turned away. He walked me to my bus and had the biggest smile on his face. I couldn't keep it in so I asked "What are you so happy about?" And he grabbed my face, bent down and kissed me and said "I just realized, I don't look at other girls anymore. I only see you. Just seeing your face, makes me get these butterflies. I.. I don't love you." I tried to run off. I was so upset and hurt. And he grabbed me and said "I don't love you. That's an understatement. I'm in love with you. Forever and Always!"
