Hi, I'm Raquel and I like to write poetry. This poem was inspired by someone I've been in love with for a while now. We've had our ups and downs, but we still love each other.

Against the world.
You're my man,
And I'm your girl.
Holding on tight
Because it all seems right.
You and me
Under the stars at night.
Me and you
Have been through a lot,
But through it all,
Our love didn't stop.
We held each other down
Until the end
And never let anything
Rush us to the end.

The first month we were together I told my boyfriend its me and him against the world no matter what and Even though people say our love is puppy love, it isn't. It's more than that.

This poem reminds me of my boyfriend of 7 1/2 yrs. At the moment he is incarcerated and I always write him poems and he says they bring him joy & comfort knowing I'm thinking of our love.
