21. Dad's Love
On sunny days and dark nights,
in troubled times and pointless fights,
you've been right there through it all,
you've stood your ground when you could have taken the fall.
On sunny days and dark nights,
in troubled times and pointless fights,
you've been right there through it all,
you've stood your ground when you could have taken the fall.

You teach me right from wrong.
And when I'm sad you sing to me that special song.
You tell me everything I need to know.
And when I need you, you're always there, all set to go.

When I am sad, they comfort me.
When I am sick, they care for me.
When I misbehave, they discipline me.
Because they love me.
I wish you the best of luck in your life. You will get a father's love from your uncle.
You've always been there,
making sure I was okay.
The one who helped me be
the kind of person I am today.
My baby sister , Ann Marie , unfortunately died at a very tender age , leaving her two young sons without their beautiful mother. this poem reminded me that I carry her in my heart always ....
F - Fiercely loyal to those we love.
A - Accepting each for who and what they are.
M - Matchless in our hopes and dreams for one another.
I - Instilling pride in our hard-fought heritage.
This poem makes feel that family are important in life no matter what happens because they are going to be there. I enjoy reading this poem.
For all the days you put up with me,
For all the smiles and calamities,
For all the love you gave to me,
I just wanna say thank you.
So, I found this poem and copied it down on a card, drew a little dragon on a bar stool with a guitar singing this poem, and gave it to a girl I really liked; now, she's my girlfriend, and...
There was a time when you held my hand,
You gave me strength to stand.
When I would cry and be up all night,
Sisters, they laugh a little louder.
They cry a little softer.
They live a little stronger,
Because they stand together.
Mother is not just a word
she is someone whom takes care of you, loves you, teaches you and a friend
Mother if only words could only say
She's a woman of integrity.
She has about 3 jobs.
Four, if you include taking care of her kids.
It took a lot of effort to do what she did.
I sit here and daydream of
My future and how it seems
I can picture my wedding day
my daddy walking me down the aisle
Hello everybody I just decided to google my name today and I completely forgot that my poem was on this site. My name is Jazmyn M Winder and I am the writer of this poem I was 16 years old...
Thanks to you, I'm happy.
You love me for who I am,
Thanks to you, I want to smile.
You're always there for me.
Like a rose, you blossom from morn till eventide.
Like the sun, you radiate to give hope to somebody.
Your smiles come to me like the moonlight,
shining around me day and night.
I am so touched by this poem because it reminds me of the love of my mother. She is so caring and adorable. I pray that God will keep her safe always in Jesus name.
The reason that this poem touched me was I never had a real mom before my dad always tried to do everything for me. Now that he finally found a woman to be with we have been doing a lot...
When you've got a family like mine,
You surely would not mind.
They would cheer you on at any game,
All the way until you walk through the hall of fame.
I learned that family is going to be there for you no matter what happens. and that you can't live without them there by your side. I think this poem tells everyone family is important even...
My mom, you are so bright,
keeping me happy, a great big fight.
My life has not been easy,
But with you, it has made it less uneasy.
Mother, you are the most beautiful creation,
Taking all the pains and always being my inspiration.
Your tender love brings waves of joy,
Always bubbling with enthusiasm and compassion.
