21. You
You are
what I’ve been
searching for,
chasing after,
You are
what I’ve been
searching for,
chasing after,

"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?"
Are the words you'd hear Will Shakespeare say.
But, my love, I'm not the bard.
This poetry thing is very hard.
Beautiful poem. I love it. Ellis, you are a great poet.

What would you say if I took you away?
If I brought you along for one short day?
A lifetime with you would be ever so grand.
I wish just once you would understand.
Her nature is the best.
Her smile has life.
Her eyes are full of love.
She fits in my arms as if
If I'm anywhere around you, I can't believe
I've got to push you away to think, to breathe
I look at your face, I try to inhale,
I try again and seem to fail.
Someone once asked me, "Explain or Describe your love for your lover." I simply just looked at him, with a blank face and thought of what to say, after some time, I came to a realization that...
Butterflies telling me I'm not ready
My mind is telling me slow and steady
But I just want to love you
I just want to hold you
I wish not to love you much,
Only to love you well.
Much is but a quantity,
but well proves quality.
No ocean can fathom the depth of my feelings
Nor can the sky above
I love you more than you can imagine
Nothing can measure our love
Pull away the world
so that it is just us two.
Silence the chaos
inside and outside our heads.
Talk about rekindling something lost; that will do it. Good read and flow.
In imperfection lies your beauty
In sorrow lies your strength
And in me lies your heart.
You say I never whisper sweet things in your ear
Darling, if you'd let me, that's all you'd ever hear
I'd whisper that I love you and how beautiful you are
Famous Poem
Come when the nights are bright with stars
Or come when the moon is mellow;
Come when the sun his golden bars
Drops on the hay-field yellow.
Give me you
tired and tattered
restless and weary
a heart that’s been shattered
You can take me on a holiday
but I prefer to sit at home
you can buy me chocolate and roses
but I just want your hand to hold
I want to know you inside out,
I want to know it all -
It doesn't matter if it's important
Or if you consider it to be small.
I saw her standing across the hall
Carrying her book tote, leaning against the wall
Her beautiful eyes glanced my way
Dancing green emeralds took my breath away
Thank you, Pamela. I'm pleased that the poem was able to tell the story I hoped it would.
