  3. 22. In Jesus I Abide

This poem is inspired by the Scripture of John 15:4-5, where Jesus says we should always abide in Him. To abide in Jesus means we trust in Him and His Word, whatever our circumstances may be...

No matter what happens in my life,
Sorrow or joy, rain or shine,
Whatever befalls me, it's all right
    Because in Jesus I abide.

  5. 23. The Depth Of Forgiveness

This poem was written for someone who did incredible damage to my life, to me. But I was able to forgive them by God's unconditional love and forgiveness for me. Finally forgiving this individual has given me such freedom and peace.

I felt like I was falling
Off of a very steep cliff
And I just kept on tumbling
    Into an unknown abyss

  8. 26. The Journey

All my life I have to fight. I'm still fighting, but I believe that all will go well in the name of Jesus.

Until you've walked the road that I've trod,
and pushed your foot in my shoes,
and felt how worn out they are because of the distance I've traveled,
you can never tell me you know how I feel.

  9. 27. In The Eyes Of Christ

So many times we look at ourselves and others as not being good enough or in a negative way instead of seeing ourselves and others as Christ sees us, which is a beautiful, loving, special, holy, and perfect creation.

Looking in the Eyes of Christ, see His love for us inside.
See the beauty of our lives, in the Eyes of Christ.

In times of doubts and fears, when the world brings us to tears,

  10. 28. Lighten Up Today

I am condensing my last 25 years into this poem. I have had many struggles. Some very intense. But even though God didn't spare me from trouble in every situation, He always was with me through them. Sometimes young people can't see light at the end of the tunnel. And some of us older folks can lend a helping hand. I wish the best for all who read it.

  12. 30. Faith Like A Mustard Seed

Our faith should be our strength, our certainty, and the absolute presence of God in our hearts. A mustard seed of faith is what we all need to carry us through the tough times. God bless this verse to all its readers.

    That brings certainty
    It's the knowing

  13. 31. Tell Me

I've always wondered, what is the point of life? Do we just live then die?
Is there really a God? One generation is replaced by another and so on.

    Is there anything out there?
    Something we don't know?

  14. 32. What Faith Can Do

Striving to actualize our potential is a gradual process, often taking time. I'm grateful to God for the breakthroughs I've had along the way, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's the importance of keeping faith.

    Fueling your faith
    In what you've got within...
    In your God-given gift,
    It's a wonderful thing.

  16. 34. No Mistakes

After struggling with life's cares, my eyes were opened to the reality that I was not alone. God is always with us in our trials, and the trials we face mature our faith.

  17. 35. Her Cup Never Ran Dry

Rest. Keep leaning. Keep praying. Keep inhaling, and then find the courage to exhale.

These are the words that skipped through my tired mind 30 minutes ago. And all I heard back in my soul is “I see you, and I will refill your cup. My well never runs dry.”

    no matter how weary
    she kept pouring

but her cup never ran dry, for God

  19. 37. Homecoming For Friends

This poem is about my friends who are miles away from me. It has been many years since I've seen them, but I deeply believe that one day there will be a great homecoming. It will be the grandest reunion of good friends.

    To my dear friends,
