floating rudderless toward desperate straights,
drifting aimlessly towards whatever awaits,

I got down on my knees,
Begging you, Lord, please
Take away all this pain
Before I go insane.

I always knew I'd be a mom
since I was just a girl.
And when God blessed me with you four
you each became my world.
The poem really touched me. It shows the love the parent has for her children and how she is grateful to the Lord to the gifts. It's edifying and educative.
Help me, Lord, to be a good mother
And raise my children right.
Help me to make all ends meet when money gets too tight.
It can often be a struggle to raise kids all alone,
You know what? You will be ok, and your children will be ok, because you turn to our God for help. Who else has as much power to help the ones in need if not our God? Bless you for being you...
My Heavenly Father,
How wondrous are Your ways.
As this new day is dawning
My soul will sing Your praise.
As I read this poem, I could feel my heart opening up and allowing prayer in. One verse of the poem reminded me of a specific chapter and verse in the Bible; however, I cannot recall which...
Prayer is the breath
That revives my soul.
Prayer is the balm
That makes my spirit whole.
I run to You with my hurts and fears,
Carry me, Lord, in Your unfailing love.
When no one really understands or cares,
I run to You with my hurts and fears.
As I awoke this morning and placed my feet upon the floor,
I prayed, "Thank you God, I get to enjoy another day."
As I recall the precious memories of family and friends
I prayed, "Thank you God, for they are all so dear."
When I read this it touched my heart really and truly I would have cried but I am in public in the library
Our Father in Heaven
At the closing of the day
I clasp my hands, I close my eyes
I bow my head to pray
Poet Introduction
A child lay tenderly
For the Lord to bless and keep
His face to shine upon you
A prayer for when you sleep
The light in my darkness
You are my beacon of hope
All you take away is pain
And all you give is comfort and love
I thank God for answering your prayers. He has been soo good to me. I know that the answer does not come right away sometimes, but He will answer. Having patience, continuing to pray, and...
Whether we speak from our lips
or from the depth of our hearts,
our thoughts and words go out
as we reach upward to God.
We give thanks to you, oh God,
for the gift of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We give thanks for the price He paid
so that we could have eternal life.
It's indeed a touching poem, it really reminds me and others of the greatness of our Lord in our daily lives, praise be unto God every moment we breathe the priceless breath.... Give that...
Poet Introduction
Oh Great God, You alone can ease
The pounding of my troubled heart.
Only with You I am at peace,
For You make all my fears depart.
Yes! It's a poem which make us believe that someone is above us. Who is watching our deeds, who is worried about us. Truly this poem is so touchy that it has filled my wounded heart with the...
Protect us, Lord, and send your healing,
Receive our prayers that keep on pouring.
Allow your people to have their second chance.
Yes, Lord, we are begging you hand in hand.
In the stillness of the morning,
while the world was still asleep,
the sun was hidden under cover
and silence was strong and deep.
Poet Introduction
Father, my love for You I'll never hide.
I almost became an unbeliever when my son died.
When life gets so hard, I don't want to backslide.
My Holy Bible I never want to just set it aside.
Poet Introduction
No one knows what I feel today
Or that I'm dying inside.
No one knows the pain I'm in,
For it's nothing a smile can't hide.
Ever mess up and can't fix your mistake?
Only have one friend, cause they're too hard to make?
Ever feel alone, by yourself in the world,
sit in bed at night as your brain starts to twirl?
Its a new day, filled with so many things whether they are good, bad, or in between. The measure of the moments spent and sometimes felt as if there is nothing to show for it reaps great and...
Poet Introduction
She is unsure about her situation,
Her many trials and tribulations,
But she is trusting in His word.
