Your name is just a name now.
Memories no longer rush back,
pouring through my body,
flooding my mind, drowning my
senses, when I hear your name.

My heart no longer wants to
jump out of my chest to escape
the string. And it’s no longer
hard to breathe.

Your name is just a name now.

And I am free.
