Let Go

What do I do,
When I'm still in love with you?
You walked away,
'Cause you didn't want to stay.
You broke my heart, you tore me apart.
Every day I wait for you,
Telling myself our love was true.
But when you don't show, more tears start to flow.
That's when I know
I have to let go.

This has blessed me. I am very happy reading it but also sad because it’s a sad poem. Another comment said it made my heart leap. It touches me right in my heart. It is now my lock screen and home screen on my phone, laptop, and tablet. So much love for this poem. Very good. The poet is like Shakespeare.

Heart touching poem. Quite true in my life, but I am not so big yet. Just had a minor teenage crush.

You loved me like your blood, you nurtured me, you stood for me when I thought it was the end for me, and you fought for my right. I told you someday, just someday, I would pay you back. Little did I know that death was going to tear us apart. I love you, dear aunt. I miss you and would forever live with your memories until eternity. To my late aunt, Jada Njobdi.

I love you. These are the words that I utter sitting near the gutter hearing the sound of the guitar. My mind sees us together while my lips mutter the words the first walk in the woods.

That's why you never do that with your best friend. You are bound to get let down. I'm sorry that happened to you though. You will find better for sure. Good luck.
