I'm sorry I love you as more than a friend,
But the love that I have doesn't come to an end.
You dwell in my thoughts, and to my mind I will keep
A love that's for you, a love I hide deep
Your word has the power to tear me to shreds,
But my heart is what sinks, a feeling of dread.
The sight of you brings me down to my knees,
The slightest of touches, as strong as a breeze,
A breeze of love stale and cold,
For it is not to me that your heart has been sold.
