Loss of a Friend Poem

A very close friend of mine has recently taken his life. This poem is something I wrote for his mother who I have grown up with, or should I say, watched me grow up.

At those gates,
He'll be waiting for you

Not just now,
We need you here

We'll all help you through
Each and every tear
