Depression Poem

I have been suffering from depression for about three years now, and sometimes I just feel so worthless.

I can relate to you and this poem. It seems so much like my own story. Silence can be really deafening. I have experienced it and I just wish nobody else does.

Silence

Silence is the loudest thing
I have ever heard.

It consumes you like you
Are in a crowd full of people.

It screams at you when
You are alone.

It has no weakness.
You can never escape it.

It can kill you; it's the most
Dangerous weapon I've ever had.

It will take your happiness away
And make you miserable.

It has taken me and made me a victim.
I will never be the same.

Silence. Don't. Take. Me.
