41. Autumn's Dance
Autumn leaves dance gaily around,
they swirl in a haze towards the ground.
Auburns, golds, russets, too,
offering different shapes, differing hues.

Autumn leaves are falling
Soft, golden, and brown
The sun lends them a glowing hue
As they slide down to the ground.

September enters- Autumn's hazy days...
Warm golden sun, shadows dance and play.
Seeds are released, Finches feed their way,
Blackberries plump, ripened, have come to stay...
I once wore the deepest, emerald green
inside a cluster of plush, verdant leaves.
I bowed from an ancient, magnificent tree
and fluttered and danced in a warm spring breeze
Beautifully written, as usual. I would definitely 'be grieved by your leaving'!
Love and very best wishes, Ann.
