Heartbreak Poem by Teens

Poem About Healing From A Break-Up

I write loads of poetry. I have lost so many things in my life and write poems to fill the gaps. They tend to be about loss, love, or quite emotional poems.

I Miss You

The day you left, my tears ran wild,
Not a day since then have I truly smiled.
Day by day I wait for you,
Hoping that my dream will come true,
The one where you come back to me,
And I can finally set my heart free.
I cry again, a single tear,
Each one I shed I feel the fear.
I lie in bed, my pillow damp,
No light comes from my fluorescent lamp.
Slowly as a year goes by,
I no longer think, I no longer cry.
