Hearing stories about you makes me want to cry
It brings buckets of tears to my eyes
Dad tells me about all the adventures you and him went on
It hurts me inside that you're gone

I can't wait to get to heaven and meet you at last
I wish I was there to laugh with you and smile with you before you passed
But for now I'll just have to wait for my time
And watch all these people commit a crime

So I guess that's all
GOD has made his call
I will cherish your story
As if they were your memory

Rest in peace, Grandpop Barry
I will miss you dearly
May you watch over me
And make sure I don't cry
Boy, does it hurts me that you're gone

I lost my grandpa before I was born.
When I found out, I was torn.
Why did the leaf fall from the family tree,
Hit the ground, and have to leave?
Hearing stories about you makes me cry.
It brings lots of tears to my eyes.
It hurts me inside that you're gone,
But my life has to move on.
I dream to know what you are like.
Maybe we could have been alike.
Only if you were alive.
I love you, my beloved grandpa.
