As I let go of all of my love,
I want you to know you were a gift from above.
The light of my life
To end all my strife.

You were all of my hopes and all of my dreams,
The one to say no to all of my schemes,
The one to keep me on track.
I know you always had my back.

Now you are the hole in my heart,
And I feel all torn apart.
You left with a hollow goodbye,
Not even a tear in your eye.

Did I do something wrong?
Why after so long?
