My heart weeps
At the sound of her voice.
She walks by me,
But I've made my choice

To go away from this town,
Not to see her.
I drive away with a frown,
Not to love her.

But I made the right choice.
Lying in bed
With her in my head,
I weep at the thought of her.

Not to share my love,
Not to give my love,
Not to see my love,
Not to cherish my love.

Can't go to sleep.
Can't go to school.
Can't go to work.
Can't go to her.

She is my life,
My hope,
My dream,
My love.

My love for her
Is deeper than the ocean.
She sees me sleepy
That morning.

My heart weeps
At the sound of her voice.
She walks by me,
But I've made my choice --
The right choice.
