Change Poems

Poetry about Change

All of us experience change in our lives. Change is the one constant in our lives. There are changes that we look forward to and change that we fear. However, one thing is for sure. Things will not stay the same no matter how much we would like them to. When a life change occurs, we have two choices in how to respond. We can despair that a change has come and assume that things will be worse, or we can look with excitement at the new possibilities for personal growth and change in self that the change presents.

  1. Sea Of Change

Changing From One Mood To Another

    The clouds never break
    Like blue waters do
    On this Island of Pain.
    How can I stand true?

  3. Rainy Days When I Was Young

Growing Up And Learning About Life

When I was young on rainy days,
Alone on my front porch I'd play.
I'd lose myself in another time
That I could create with my toys and my mind.

    Poem About Overcoming Addiction

    Picture

I remember the day we met.
Too young to see the danger.
I didn't know the devil you were,
That you'd fill me with so much anger.

  6. Winter Stars

    I went out at night alone;
The young blood flowing beyond the sea
Seemed to have drenched my spirit’s wings—
    I bore my sorrow heavily.

    Accepting Who You Are

Before I became strong, I knew what it was like
    To be weak,
How difficult it is to love yourself,
To find the wholeness that you seek.

You declare you see me dimly

Truely inspirational poem. This is the cry of present time that it is the 21st century and people are still struggling for equality, which is far from reach for many.
