Loving and sharing before we were born,
Trials and tests together we bore,
Living and laughing our lives we did share,
People would say, just look at this pair!
Two separate people, but hard to compare.
The tricks we would play. Oh, what can I say?
I'm glad I was born a twin on that special July day!

December 4th was our birthday, til it was taken away that morning you passed, my sissy. Three years have passed since, and it's the day you died, our birthday. I try so hard to remember the 36 years we had celebrating together. Taken too soon, a mama and sister and daughter, you were loved and always will be. Taken too soon, I couldn't get there in time. Never said goodbye, and you never met my son. He's us!! I gave your children the belongings I knew you would want them to have. Packed up your house as I knew you would want. I played our songs and showed your beautiful smile for all to see and kissed your stone and went home.
