Mother Poem

Short Poem About Mother Being With You After Death

I had to raise my children on my own. They have a father, but everything fell on my shoulders. After our divorce, I almost lost the house, and there were times I had no idea where the next meal would come from. But I knew I had to leave. When everything around me seems to be falling apart, I look at my children's pictures, and I know I will make it through.

A Mother's Soul

Published by Family Friend Poems August 2011 with permission of the Author.

Never really appreciated, many times ignored.
She would give her life for you, never asking for reward.
Her love is never ending, though sometimes it gets lost,
For you must find your own way soon, through the cold of winter's frost.
She will always be there for you, even if not asked ...
For a mother's soul won't wither or die ... even once she's passed.
