Many Laughs

Many laughs we've had,
and all of which were great.
It all started weeks ago,
us brought together by fate.
The day that I first met you,
my heart did skip a beat.
I had to steady myself
because you swept me off my feet.
I saw your dazzling smile,
and heat rushed to my face.
I haven't blushed that much
since I ran the 5k race.
I know I love you so
and want to see you more,
and at the slightest thought of losing you,
my heart drops to the floor,
so stay with me, my darling.
Hold me tight and close.
Forever is a long time,
but it is you I want the most.
