This poem is about my ex girlfriend, about loving someone who claims they love you too. It has to do with how she hurt me when it came to saying I love you and not meaning it. It really just hurts so much.

Your words forever burned
Within my mind.
All the pain they withhold,
So much sadness they bring.

The hate I hold back,
Is it for your sake or mine?
I can't seem to hurt you
Although you ruined me.

I can only forgive,
But never forget
The happiness you once brought
And the pain you now cause.

I've been missing you so much,
And I just want it to change,
But the words are forever
Still bringing much pain.
