Heartbreak Poem by Teens

Poem About Not Being Loved In Return

I'm Sarah, and I fell in love with a guy. We were perfect for each other, but I guess he didn't see it. This poem is to that guy, and he knows who he is, and even though he's moved on, I will still always love him.

I Love You

You have to know,
I mean, you must know,
How much I love you,
How much I care about you.

I tell you every day,
Yet you never reply when I say it.
I am truly in love with you,
But are you in love with me?

Every time we're together
I hope that you will make a move,
But all you do is sit there,
Chatting with your friends.

You used to tell me how much you loved me,
How much you cared,
But now I feel like nothing,
Like you don't care.

I can tell that you love me.
I see it in your eyes,
But you try to deny it,
You try not to show it.
May I ask why?

When we were together,
It seemed so perfect,
Like nothing could go wrong.

I wonder what I did to deserve this,
To make you ignore me,
Because all I want to do is cry.

You said you would never hurt me.
You even gave me a ring.
Then three days later
You said you had to leave.

You broke up with me.
You broke my heart into a million pieces,
And now I see you with her,
Only a month after you broke my heart.

I wanted to die.
I wanted to kill her,
But all I can do is tell you the truth,
And that's how I really feel.

So here it is,
I love you.
I'm in love with you,
And I just hope you never forget me.
